Are you someone who enjoys a cold, refreshing drink of Coca Cola? If so, hold it right there. Coke has some unbelievable uses that don’t involve swallowing it. In fact, after you see these 15 things you can clean with Coke, you may not want to swallow it. {But this isn’t about that–if you still wanna swallow it it’s your choice!}

1. It won’t disinfect, but Coke will get stubborn stains off your toilet bowl. Just pour it in to remove hard water and lime scale. The longer you allow it to sit, the better it works, so try it overnight for the best results.

2. Grease stains on clothes are no match for a good soaking in Coca Cola. That’s because the fizzy acids in Coke are great at breaking down the grease solids that form the stain. Just wet the stain with Coke and let it sit for awhile before laundering as usual. You can repeat this as necessary to remove the entire stain.

3. Coke will not only remove grease stains from clothing and fabrics, it will also remove grease from pots and pans. For best results, pour Coke into the offending pan and let it sit on low heat until it simmers. Remove from heat and cool, then scrub and wash as usual.

4. The next time you need to clean your car’s battery cables, just pour a little Coke over them to dissolve the acid build-up that messes with the connections.

5. A windshield covered in disgusting bug guts is also no match for some Coke. The Coke is powerful enough to help dissolve the dead bugs so you can see clearly again! Put some Coke in a spray bottle and spray it directly on the dirty areas. Let it sit for a few minutes and then wipe away with a clean cloth. Be careful about getting the Coke on your vehicle’s paint job.

6. Blood stains on clothes can be handled with some Coke. As with grease stains, moisten the stain with Coke and allow it to sit for 30 minutes or so before tossing it in the wash.7. Rust is something else that the acidity of Coke will break down and destroy. Rusty tools, nuts and bolts can be dropped right into a container of Coke for a good soaking. Clean them and rinse well afterwards.

9. If your garage floor has a stain from an oil leak, pour Coke on it and let it do the work for you. Rinse well after soaking the oil away.

10. Coin collectors know that Coke helps clean up their old finds.
