All-purpose cleaner:

In a 24-oz. water bottle, put 5 oz. rubbing alcohol, 3 oz. white vinegar and 2 tsp. ammonia. If you would like a scent added to it, just use a few drops of lemon or lavender essential oil.

This cleaner works great on lots of surfaces around the home, such as counter tops, tile floors, door handles and ceramic cook tops.

Soft Cleanser:

This is the simplest cleanser you will ever use, and it consists solely of….baking soda!

Use baking soda wherever you use other powdered cleansers. It works great for scrubbing a stainless steel sink, bathroom sink, or the bathtub. Sprinkle liberally, scrub with a wet sponge, and rinse well with warm water.

De-Greaser & Soap Scum Remover:

Use 2 parts white vinegar and 1 part Dawn Dish washing liquid, plus 2 drops essential oil such as lemon or lavender for scent, in a spray bottle. Mix well.

Every home needs a cleaner that will remove stubborn grease spots around the kitchen and soap scum in the bathroom. This cleaner will do both. Just spray on, allow it to sit for a bit, then scrub with a sponge. Rinse well with warm water.

These products are so simple to make but so effective. Thank you for sharing! If your tile and carpet are still giving you troubles, I would suggest using Chem-Dry. They are the most effective, and the safest company I know. They use safe cleaning soaps and minimal water. Thanks again for the post!
