Here is what you need to make the best DIY homemade laundry detergent:

A gallon-sized container to store the finished detergent. Purchase a gallon jug of spring water from Dollar Tree and use the water to make the detergent. This is a helpful tip!

Use 1/3 cup for a large or extra dirty load.t’s a good idea to give the container a quick shake before each use of the DIY homemade detergent, because some settling of the ingredients may occur between uses.
For extra cleaning power or brightening of your whites, add a little oxygenated cleaner or white vinegar to the washing machine when you add the detergent.
