1. One of the really great ways to use bins is in your toy room. It gives the kids someplace easily reached to put their toys. Plus it helps keep the toys more organized when they aren’t playing with them.
2. Lined and labeled wire baskets are handy spots to organize bathroom and laundry essentials that you need to keep close, but you don’t necessarily want to look at all the time.
3. Here’s a fantastic idea for pantry organization and meal planning all in one! Put the ingredients you need for a week’s worth of dinners in each of seven bins, and label them. When it’s time to make dinner, just grab the right bin and you’ve got all your pantry items right at your fingertips. This might be one of the best ideas I’ve seen in awhile.
4. Baskets and bins just belong in a craft room. I can’t imagine storing all those little things {threads, stamps, ribbons, paint brushes, etc.} without them!
5. If you want to be able to see what’s in your bins, clear plastic ones can definitely be the way to go. In the bathroom they help you see what makeup or hair products you have on hand, without having to pull them out every time you want to check. They are also incredibly handy when each child in your family has their own bin to hold their own toiletries, razors, lotions, etc.
6. These large bins, which also happen to look quite pretty, are fantastic to store the off-season clothes in your closet until you need them again.
7. Bins are also a great way to organize all the kids’ school papers that you want to save. The tabs are color-coded for each child, and there are extra tabs in back for school photos, team pictures, band concert programs, etc.
8. Dresser drawers can be organization nightmares, but using bins can turn the nightmare into a dream. This drawer is in a nursery, and bins are used to hold things such as washcloths, diaper creams, and rolled onesies.
9. Baskets and bins are awesome to corral the clutter that accumulates under bathroom and kitchen sinks. Here, bins are used to hold toilet paper rolls and tissue boxes, as well as cleaning supplies, toiletries and washcloths. All of it is organized and stored within easy reach whenever it is needed.
