I’m sure you’ve seen some kitchen organization hacks before, but these are different. They don’t require buying any expensive containers, fancy canisters, or drawer organizers. All you need is a trip to your local dollar store {or shop online at Dollar Tree!}. Get ready to organize your kitchen more affordably and efficiently than ever. For more ideas, see our post on How to Declutter and Organize the Kitchen.
1. Those simple plastic bins you can find at your local dollar store are perfect for storing and organizing lots of things in the pantry. I also use a couple in my bathroom closet to organize medical supplies. And you can’t beat the price on these babies!
2. Here’s an example of how you can use colorful plastic baskets to give your refrigerator storage a makeover. Sandwich essentials are in one basket, vegetables in another, and one basket is dedicated to salsas and hot sauces. That equals less time with the refrigerator door open while you grab all your sandwich makings.
3. I think this idea is so much better than a standard cutlery divider. Small dollar store baskets like these let you organize your cutlery on your terms.
4. Use a Lazy Susan organizer to make the items stored at the back of your refrigerator ultimately more accessible.
5. Glue together two dollar store finds {a cake pan + candlestick} and use it as a pretty sink organizer. I would give the whole thing a coat of spray paint in a lovely aqua blue.
6. A simple file organizer is all your need to store your bakeware much more efficiently.
7. Install a wire organizer on the inside of a cabinet door. Use it to stash all your cutting boards. It’s also great for the lids of your pots and pans.
8. Do you have as much trouble storing those awkward KitchenAid attachments as I seem to? Here’s the answer!
9. You can also streamline your entire freezer storage with dollar store bins and labels. No more digging through the freezer contents to find that last package of ground beef you know is there!
10. Hang a shoe organizer over the pantry door for all those little items like Kool-Aid packets, raisin boxes and tea bags.
