Is this how you feel when it’s time to find something you know you stashed in your car’s trunk? Then say no to junk in the trunk! Today we have organization hacks for your trunk. There are things you should keep in there. We’ll show you how to stay organized so that there’s room whenever you suddenly need to get something back home.
If there is junk in your trunk right now, get in there and get rid of it. And then vacuum it out so you can start fresh! Doesn’t that feel so much better already?
One thing you simply MUST keep in your trunk is a first aid kit. You never know when you might need it! Some vehicles come equipped with a first aid kit that is already tucked into a convenient spot where it will ride nicely until you need to use it. The same goes for a road emergency kit. You should have a tire iron, flat repair kit, and other item stashed that stay there permanently.
For all those items that you need to carry once a week, once a month, or just whenever the need may arise, you need the following organization hacks for your trunk.
- Get a collapsible trunk organizer to corral groceries and other small items when needed. This keeps things safe while you’re driving and prevents spilled milk and other messy disasters. You can find one at Amazon for under $15. That’s money well-spent!
- Use a wicker basket or bin to hold items you may need in an emergency, such as a blanket, flashlight, batteries, and extra shoes. Tuck it in an out-of-the-way spot.
- Carabiner clips are a hack you need to know about. Clip a few to secure spots in your trunk. They are great to hold onto grocery bags, dry cleaning, and even fishing poles while you drive.
