Is keeping a clean house something that’s tough for you? Do you put it off as long as possible, only to drudge through it once every week or two? {There is a better way!} Today I have some tips to help you. These are simple, daily things you can do that will create positive cleaning habits. As a result, you’ll feel like your house is cleaner in less time.
I know a lot of people out there believe that it’s a total waste of time to make the bed each day, but I’m not one of them. I was taught to make my bed every day, and if I don’t, my bedroom feels disorganized. So take the time to make your bed each and every day. It only takes a few minutes, but makes a surprising difference in the tidiness of the whole room.
I also do one load of laundry almost every day, sometimes two. It’s easy to do, and it doesn’t leave me with piles and piles to get through every weekend! Make the effort to throw in just one load a day, and your life will be so much easier!
Take a few minutes at the end of each day to clean up whatever the biggest problem spot is. For me, this is usually the kitchen. It is so much nicer to get up in the morning without a mess of dirty dishes waiting in the sink!
Everyone has those high traffic areas in their home that are the quickest to get messy. That might be the shoe drop in the mudroom, the back door entrance, or the family room. Commit to keep these areas picked up each day, and your cleaning life will be easier than ever.
