I think that one of the biggest reasons people hate cleaning their bathroom is because it feels like a never ending chore! Especially with kids. You clean it one minute, and then the next, it is just as messy as it was previously! Here are 10 incredible tips to keep your bathroom organized and always ready for guests.
Cleaning Supplies Belong Together
Birds of a feather, right? Assuming you haven’t done so already, make sure that all of your cleaning supplies are stored together. The easiest way to do so, is to keep everything together in a cleaning caddy. This makes actually cleaning your bathroom so much easier, because all of your necessary items are all in one area!
Scrub Wands Rock
They truly do. Fill a dish wand with your favorite bathroom cleaner. Use the wand (and the cleaner) to tackle the grime that may be around your bathtub or shower. What a great way to save your hands from getting totally dried out!
Wipe Down Daily
This sounds like a ton of work, I know, but it’s really worth it to tackle messes as they happen! Make it a habit to wipe down your counter tops after you have gotten ready for the day. If you have a glass shower door, wipe down with a squeegee after you’ve showered to keep soap scum and water spots from developing. This alone will make your bathroom look so much better!
Put Items Where They Belong
Take some time and really tackle the cabinet under the sink. You know, the one that is overflowing due to all of your half used bottles of lotion? Cut down on your beauty product supplies, and really get the area under your sink organized. Once organized, be sure to always put your products back where they belong! Doing this will cut down on your counter top clutter, and make your bathroom look so organized!
Coat Walls with RainX
You read that correctly, coat your shower walls (and door!) with a coat of RainX. This helps water, soapscum, and other unsightly materials from sticking to the walls of your shower. This will make cleaning so much simpler!
Towel Racks are a Must
Nothing makes a bathroom look messier than a cluster of wet towels on the tiled floor. Cut back on towel clutter by installing a few towel rods throughout your bathroom. Whether you choose to DIY or buy one, it will make your bathroom look much more put together, and it will help keep towels from smelling like mildew.
Keep Dryer Sheets Handy
Dryer sheets are one of the greatest cleaning tools out there. Keep a supply in your bathroom to polish your fixtures, nab dust bunnies, and pick up any hair. You won’t even need to break out the broom or vacuum! Totally easy!
No Soap Bar
Skip the soap bar around your bathroom sink. Soap bars get grimy from all of the hands quickly, and they are notorious for leaving a trail of soap scum in their wake. Avoid the grime and use liquid soap instead.
