If you’ve been following us, you know that 101 Days of Organization is all about staying organized for a more smoothly functioning home. One of the tougher organizing jobs for moms is all the toys that come with the kids–particularly the tiny toys! {If you’ve ever stepped barefoot on a Lego then you know what I mean!} Today’s post is all about how to corral them. Keep reading to see 10 pretty great ways to organize those tiny toys!
1.A rolling cart with drawers is a great thing to help organize toys. For tiny toys, throw in some dollar store baskets. Over at Tidbits, Cami did this for her girls’ ponies and princesses, and it works great!
2. Would you believe that those adorable little cubbies are ice cube trays, spray painted gold and mounted to the wall? What a genius way to organize all the little Shopkins pieces! Check out our other ideas for hanging toy organization for easy clean up.
3. Bead boxes are incredibly useful for tiny toy organization. Legos, marbles, even those cute little Tsum Tsums fit perfectly inside the little compartments.
4. A hardware and tool organizer, usually used to keep track of small metal parts like nuts, bolts and screws, is perfect for tiny toys in the playroom.
5. Look for a vintage letterpress drawer. It looks amazing hung on a wall, and holds lots of tiny toys stylishly! I love this idea!
The bath is another place where little toys are rampant. Use a bath storage basket like this one to keep them contained.
7. A hanging shoe rack is another way to stash lots of tiny toys. The best part is that you can hang it behind a door or in another out-of-the-way spot.
8. Keep tiny toys tidy in the car with a car back seat organizer from Amazon. Bonus–it holds an iPad so the kids can watch a show on road trips.
9. Save your empty peanut butter and mayonnaise jars! Once cleaned, they make awesome tiny toy storage. If you drill a hole in the lid and attach some ribbon, it is completely portable, too!
