How To Clean Wood Furniture

Here are the best cleaning tips for wood furniture. If you do these weekly, you’ll keep your wood furniture looking its best.

How to {Effectively} Clean Wood Furniture - 101 Days of Organization| Cleaning Hacks, Cleaning Tips, Cleaning, Clean Wood Furniture, Cleaning Wood Furniture
  1. Use a gentle wood cleaner that is both non-toxic for you and safe for your wood furniture. Bona makes a whole line of non-toxic products for hardwood floors {that I love!}, so it only figures that they also make products for your wood furniture too. Check out their cabinet cleaner which is fantastic for all wood furniture. You can buy it right at Amazon!
  2. Along with a gentle cleaner, use a microfiber dusting cloth. You can be sure it won’t scratch the finish of any of your wood furniture.
  3. Always spray your wood cleaner onto the microfiber cloth, not directly onto the wood. Doing so causes buildup on the wood.
  4. For tight little crevices, try a clean, soft makeup brush to brush dust and debris out and away. It reaches into those tiny areas much better than the dusting cloth can.
  5. Waxing is only needed once a month, at most, and only when your wood furniture’s finish is looking a little lackluster. A beeswax-based paste wax is perfect to restore shine and have it looking like new once again. Items that aren’t used frequently may only need waxing once or twice per year. Don’t overdo it!

Now that you know how to clean wood furniture the proper way, you won’t ever have to worry again. You will love how clean your home feels!
